The Future of Accredited
Accredited Investors was founded over thirty-five years ago, with three key principles: put clients first, stay curious and informed, and create opportunities for our team.
While our original principles still guide us, we have incorporated others about which we are just as passionate. We want to remain independent and broaden leadership and ownership to ensure that the firm remains true to our founders’ intentions. We continuously work to enhance the firm’s leadership and governance structure to serve families for years to come.
Today, our ownership group includes eleven shareholders, all of whom work within the company, with an Executive Committee and a rotating Board of Directors comprised of a subset of our shareholders.

Our location in Edina hosts a number of sustainable offerings that support and encourage a more ecologically-minded lifestyle, including:
A rooftop solar array to power our offices
Electric vehicle charging stations to serve both clients and team members
Native rain garden landscaping to complement the local ecology
Within our offices, we engage in various efforts to promote sustainability in our everyday tasks, such as encouraging going paperless whenever possible, establishing recycling programs, offering remote and hybrid work and meeting options and prioritizing water and energy conservation strategies.
