Accredited is thrilled to announce that Becky Krieger, Managing Director, Client and Community Outreach, has been named by Finance & Commerce as one of the 2019 Top Women in Finance in Minnesota.
Finance & Commerce has been honoring Minnesota’s Top Women in Finance each year since 2001. Per the publication, the Top Women in Finance honors program “recognizes women who are making an impact not only in their professions but also in their communities in Minnesota.”
Earlier this year, Becky was honored by the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal as a 2019 Women in Business Award winner.
Inside the firm, Becky is responsible for driving Accredited’s external engagements, including the development of new client relationships, the management of community initiatives, and the representation of the firm within broader business and philanthropic commitments. In relationship with clients, she guides the team’s strategic planning decisions, tailoring solutions specific to each client’s financial needs, goals, and circumstances.
Within the broader community, Becky currently serves on the Large Firm Forum Planning Committee for the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) as well as the Professional Advisor Committee of the Minneapolis Foundation. She has served as President and Board member of the Financial Planning Association of Minnesota and previously participated in the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Minnesota program, an exclusive program of 35 business leaders throughout Minnesota that “opens the window to a behind-the-scenes look at what makes our state’s economy tick.”
Becky also leads Accredited’s participation in the “Be Our Guest” program, supporting the Foundation for Financial Planning, by hosting a day-long seminar for other firms around the country in which Accredited shares the firm’s approach, expertise, and best practices. She also spearheads Accredited’s firm-wide volunteer efforts, including the firm’s philanthropy days. Organizations supported in the past include the Masonic Cancer Center at the University of Minnesota (Chainbreaker Ride), Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity, Great River Greening, and Help At Your Door.
