Over thirty years ago, Ross Levin and Wil Heupel founded Accredited Investors Wealth Management® with a desire to engage in meaningful conversations with clients about integrating their money and values. What started as a small partnership has grown into a thriving firm with more than 45 staff members, more than 450 client families, approximately $1.9 billion in assets under management, and a company culture that has been recognized a Best Places to Work for four consecutive years by the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal.

As a fully independent firm, Accredited has a diverse group of professionals providing expertise in the field of estate planning, taxes, philanthropy, social security, financing, insurance, alternative investments, and more.

During this day together, Accredited Investors’ leadership and staff will offer a playbook of actionable ideas and items to improve your business practices. They will share everything from their talent sourcing and hiring practices, to tips on how to attract new clients, what to deliver to them, and lessons they have learned over the years.

Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of leaders throughout Accredited’s organization – from operations, to compliance, to wealth managers, to Accredited’s investment group. The day is intended to provide an open overview of all aspects of the organization.

Individual attendee: $1,000 donation to the Foundation for Financial Planning (FFP).

Group attendees (two or more from the same firm): $800 donation per person to FFP.

Hosts:

Ross Levin, CFP® – Chief Executive Officer and Founder

Ross Levin is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Accredited Investors Wealth Management.® Long an industry leader, Ross translates his expertise into meaningful conversations with clients about integrating their money and values. He was the first recipient of the Financial Planning Association’s Heart of Financial Planning Award, and the inaugural recipient of Financial Planning Magazine’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

Ross currently serves as Past Chair of the University of Minnesota Foundation and as an Ambassador for the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards in Washington, D.C.

He served as a committee member of the University of Minnesota Presidential Search Advisory Committee, is a former Chairman of the International Association for Financial Planning (now the FPA), and is a former member of the Board of Governors for the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.

Ross is a regular columnist for the Minneapolis Star Tribune and Financial Advisor Magazine.

Becky Krieger, CFP®, CPA – Managing Director, Client and Community Outreach

A senior member of Accredited’s Wealth Management group, Becky is responsible for oversight of client relationships. Additionally, as Managing Director, Client and Community Outreach, Becky leads Accredited’s community initiatives, representing the firm within broader business and philanthropic engagements.

As the youngest of seven children, born and raised on a farm passed to family members for over 150 years, Becky has a natural comfort level navigating thoughtful conversations about the multitude of ways wealth impacts families. Becky finds fulfillment working with client families to develop both immediate solutions and long-term strategies that result in tangible, meaningful impacts on their lives. Within the firm, Becky is energized by her work to expand Accredited’s ability to support client relationships, and by serving as a strong female leader within the wealth management industry.

A past President and Board member of the Financial Planning Association of Minnesota, Becky currently serves on the Professional Advisor Committee of the Minneapolis Foundation, and she is a member of the Large Firm Forum Planning Committee of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA).

Additionally, Becky has participated in the Leadership Minnesota program of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, an exclusive program for a select group of 35 business leaders throughout Minnesota that “opens the window to a behind-the-scenes look at what makes our state’s economy tick.”
