For the second year in a row, Accredited Investors Wealth Management has been named one of the Best Places to Work in the Twin Cities, in the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal’s annual Best Places to Work awards, in the rankings of companies with 25-49 employees.
This award is based on the results of anonymous surveys of company employees, in which employees are “asked to rate their company on a variety of topics, including communication, professional development and leadership practices.”
The Business Journal and its research partner, Quantum Workplace, “look for companies that invest in their employees, that create respectful and vibrant work environments, and that offer interesting and challenging careers.”
The Business Journal asked Founding Principal and President Ross Levin questions regarding what makes Accredited such a great place for employees:
What’s a question you ask every job candidate? “What are the things you value and how do your actions link to those things?”
What do you want to hear? I want to hear that they value making a difference, the characteristics of others, collaboration and autonomy (seemingly contradictory), and continuous learning and improvement.
What’s one word that best describes your company’s culture? Integrated
What are three reasons your employees love coming to work in the morning? The work we do is meaningful, the days are busy, and there is laughter in the hallways.
